About This Game

Become the Legend of Nightlight:

The world of Nightlight approaches darkness as its queen is made host to the Dark Night, an entity wishing to see the world enshrouded in darkness. Only a legend can defeat a legend, and in this story, you are the destined hero.

Your creator gave you the powers of a founder, making you able to host many fireflies at once. Unleash their power upon your foes, craft and discover tools and items to cheat your way out of death, and become the legend written in the books.

Speed and Control is Everything:

With tight and responsive controls, dash and slash through the foes you meet, hop and slide from platforms and over ravines, and feel the speed and weight of your sword as you take on everything the world of Nightlight throws at you.

A Vibrant and Varied World:

Explore the many areas of Nightlight, from the bustling city to the eerie forest, and climb the castle of Hell High to reach your infested queen. However, you must own the required talents to make the climb, unless you find creative ways over its obstacles.

Customize Your Neon Demon:

• Build your character with many possible combinations of fireflies, tools, and buffs to bring out the demon within you. You can choose from a wide variety of options to create the perfect build for your playstyle.
• Become lightning itself, striking your foes from every angle.
• Become a powerful hunter and strike your foes from afar.
• Become an agile sword fighter and fight with honor.
• Become a boss and use only the most powerful fireflies to rain hell upon your foes.
• Fight the way you want to fight and change your style as you play by switching between your firefly presets.

Cheat Your Foes:

• Craft, buy or discover a multitude of items, each with its own unique function.
• Set traps for your foes, become invisible, launch grenades, bounce in the air with wire-cut air grenades, and compliment your own play style.
• Use powerful buffs to match the most powerful fighters in Nightlight. Increase your damage, your speed, and modify how your warrior maneuvers in battle.

Fight Legendary Enemies:

• Discover and fight powerful foes. Those that hide in the shadows and those that stand in your way.
• Extract the essence of your foes and create a new weapon out of their own move-set.
• Challenge yourself against living legends and test your builds in fast, interesting fights.

Explore the Secrets of Nightlight:

• Talk to the interesting characters of the world and learn their secrets and what they know about Nightlight.
• Find secret passageways, lands long forgotten, and enemies that lay far from the outskirts of the world, all using your creative maneuvering and exploring talents.
• Pop air grenades and bounce into unsuspecting secret walls, slash through fake obstacles, and discover powerful items.
• Explore an interconnected world that has a secret in every corner.

Whichever path you decide to take, make sure it’s one you can finish. The road to becoming a legend is long and arduous, but the satisfaction of completing your goals will be worth it.

Key Features:

• Battle your way through hordes of light-infested foes using your agility and the founder ancestral power that allows you to host multiple fireflies that give you interesting mixes of weapons and abilities to demolish any in your path.
• Craft or buy multiple types of tools and items to cheat your way through fights and come out on top as the most powerful warrior in the world.
• Unlock fireflies or craft them out of boss drops to access that boss’s move-set and use it for yourself.
• Find and complete small side quests inspired by the design of the Souls games.
• Unlock fast travel from any respawn point you find and shorten the distances.
• Sell and buy multiple items to progress yourself in your journey.
• Upgrade your energies and earn the capacity required to use legendary fireflies.
• Unlock four different abilities that better your body and make you the legend you were set out to be, but finding them won’t be that easy.
