About This Game

Gladiator Immortal is a turn-based fantasy Gladiator Rougelike game where you manage a team of Gladiators who fight for the glory of the gods. Build up your town, hire new gladiators, level up your best Gladiators, climb the league, find powerful weapons and armour and win favour with the gods and Immortality.

Tactical Turn-Based Combat

Fight across Gladiator Leagues in Arenas for each of the Gods Domains. Each God will have a unique Arena, traps, surprises, creatures and attitude. Some Gods are easily bored and so easy to provoke their wrath. Win battles and fight well and the Gods will reward the victor.

Fight against other Gladiator schools, creatures summoned by the Gods or league bosses that need to be beaten if a Gladiator school is to go up a league.

Manage and Develop your Town

Manage your Gladiator school along with the town it resides in. Level up buildings to add more options for your Gladiators. Buy items from traders, recruit new Gladiators or send your Gladiators to relax in the Inn. Wounded Gladiators may be treated in the monastery or taken to the shrine, praying to the Gods for aid. Warriors killed are sent to the mortuary where they may either be laid to rest or in the case of the greatest bought back to life using the powers and artefacts of the Gods.

Each building in your town may be upgraded as you progress and accumulate wealth and power. Each building will bring different aspects to managing your Gladiators.

Recruit, Equip, Level and Train your Gladiators

Items may be bought from Traders, won in Arena battles or found in Arenas. Gladiators may use any weapon type however training and learning that weapon mastery will mean they hit more and harder and allows them to unlock skill trees for each weapon type. There are masteries for every weapon type, including 5 magic schools. Each mastery has a set of unique skills.

Learn new skills

Gladiators learn experience in battles and this can be used to raise stats and learn new skills as they level up. Some may specialise in physical weapons while others may learn spells from the magic schools.

There is a mastery for each weapon type and a skill tree for each mastery. This allows powerful combinations of skills to be used in the arena. As your Gladiators level up they may learn more skills for their chosen mastery and multiple masteries. This allows combinations such as fighter mages, powerful tank like Gladiators and ranged damage dealers.

As you progress up the leagues you will need to beat other Gladiator schools who have experienced Gladiators with a range of skills and masteries.

Fight in each God’s domain

Each God as a specific domain type, within these domains they build arenas. Some are based in the clouds while otherwise reside deep underground or in swamps. Each arena has a set of modifiers, some depend on the arena domain, others are chosen by the whim of the gods.

Discover powerful weapons, armour and trinkets

Equipment and Items may be purchased, found or won. Special items may be found, such as magic potions, the fabled “Goblin in a bottle”, magic weapons, armours and trinkets. Start off with basic armour and weapons, progress equipping more powerful items. Only the best armour and weapons will give your gladiators a change to beat the mighty arena bosses or the best Gladiator teams.

Entice local Traders

Levelling up the market will encourage better and more traders to visit your town. These in turn will bring more unusual and powerful items to trade.

Only the greatest Gladiators will obtain Immortality

As your Gladiators climb up the leagues learning fame and fortune they will eventually encounter the ultimate challenger, one of the Gods immortals. If they can beat them then they will take their place amongst the God’s elite warriors and earn immortality.
