Synopsis:

Five teenagers have gone missing after a once-in-a-century flood destroys the town of Prairieville, Louisiana. The town is in uproar. Mysterious sounds fill the night. Local legend has the townsfolk whispering behind closed doors, wondering if those kids didn’t go missing by accident.

That’s exactly what Detective May Samson of the New Orleans Police Department is wondering too, considering it’s her hometown. She decides to head home to try and find these kids, while simultaneously suspecting that these legends might be more real than she ever knew. Now she must learn from the past if she ever wants to find the truth. But will the truth be too horrible to take?
